Birthday Feature #1: Presley's Pretties

This shop is full of hand-painted creations. Everything from personalized picture frames, door hangers to bow holders. Everything is so beautifully painted and personalized. All kinds of themes are featured. There is a chalkboard frame, a Minnie Mouse frame, a polka dot..the list goes on and on. While looking for a frame to display a birthday photo at my daughter's party, I found these great frames. The Polka dot gift set even features a bow holder!

Christmas in July

I have already begun adding Holiday items to my shop. Some handmade, some vintage.

Working on feature

I was browsing around Etsy, looking for items my little girl's 1st Birthday party. I discovered so many great things that I have decided to feature these sellers items over the next few weeks. As soon as I get permission from the sellers this feature will begin. I am really excited about it!

Also readers of this blog if you have some item suggestions , comment me and let me know.
Have a great week!

Is this paint medium too "Old Fashioned"?

I love to upcycle whenever possible. Painting and creating on used saw blades is one way I am able to do this. Is this too old fashioned for a medium?

I live in a rural town in North Louisiana and am surrounded by lots of wildlife and grew up with a father that is an avid fisherman and hunter. A lot of the subjects are inspired by that. You will see a lot of country scenes and animals. Maybe these do have an audience somewhere. They just seem to be a more "country craft" on Etsy and Artfire than most of the other items listed.

Just wondering what other artists thought about this.
Love to hear your comments.

Favorite vintage books...

I love vintage . Vintage children's books seems to be a special item to me . There is just something about their charm. The fact that many children have learned from and enjoyed them just makes me smile.
